Hours of draping and pattern development went into creating the Honey Skirt - our fullest and most dramatic skirt, ready to be styled in so many ways.
The four double inverted box pleats allow for a fitted waist, which flow into a full hem, using metres and metres of our luxurious silk wool loden fabric, which pairs a beautiful semi-sheen finish with a buttery drape. The full skirt has a front slit and is lined with a bamboo silk, with crinoline around the inside hem, which allows the skirt to sit away from the legs and give extra fullness.
A fitted waistband allows the skirt to sit on the natural waist and can be worn underneath our Nectar Corset or over the top of our Reef Gown or Harmony Gown. It has pockets too, which always come in handy for those candid shots.
It has a subtle puddle train which, as with all of our pieces, can be made to any length your heart desires. The slit can also be altered/removed as you wish.
