THE EXPERIENCE

Visit us at the Kindling Bridal showroom where we will guide you from your first try on to your final, dream wedding look. Your first appointment will be a chance to see the whole collection and try on as many looks as you like. Your stylist will be on hand to recommend pieces to try based on your preferences and also discuss any custom elements, alterations and styling options. 

We don’t do pushy sales tactics and always aim to provide a relaxed and fun environment for brides to feel comfortable trying their looks and give their honest opinions on how they feel wearing each style. We do have a range of samples, with most available to try in a size 10-14 although we are working towards extending this size range, but we can always work with the bride to give them an idea of how any style will look.

I love the whole vibe of the Kindling studio. Its super chilled and instantly puts you at ease. There’s so much light, it smells nice, the tunes are fab and the fizz is chilled - what more could you ask for!?

Personally having a capsule collection where each style offers a completely different look allowed me to experiment without getting overwhelmed by too much choice. I wanted to customise a few details on my dress to suit my shape and taste - Kerri is so open to bringing your ideas to life, she is literally a dream to work with. Her skills with pattern cutting and alterations are just as good as her design skills so the end result is something really special.

One of the many things I love about the Kindling collection is depending on how the dresses are styled they take on completely different looks. On one hand they can be styled to look super modern and boho. On the other hand they can take on a more classic and regal look! The quality of everything from the fabrics, to the trims to the make up of the dresses is second to none. Would 100% recommend to any bride to be.

I was proud to be a Kindling bride in September 2019 wearing the Orion gown. When I first got engaged, I felt a bit underwhelmed by many of the offerings on the market until I discovered the dreamy dresses by Kindling Bridal. I loved all of Kerri’s designs because they beautifully mixed tradition with a more modern edge, which was exactly the image I wanted for our wedding day.

It could not have been more lovely to make the trips up to Hebden Bridge first to try on lots of dresses and later for fittings. Kerri could never do too much, making adjustments to the style to suit me, and made the whole experience so special. I’m forever recommending Kindling Bridal to my engaged friends. On the day in my Kindling dress, I felt totally relaxed, comfortable and beautiful, something that doesn’t happen very often! Only a very special dress can make someone feel all those three things at once!

Kindling Bridal is the only place and the wonderful Kerri is the only designer that could have brought my one of a kind dress to life! The exquisite fitting, jaw dropping fabrics, attention to detail, inclusive sizing, are next level....and I have worked in fashion my whole life. Kindling Bridal was the first bridal shop I went to and the Celeste gown was the first dress I tried on. It felt amazing - I loved the silk. It was exactly the type of sleek and elegant dress I was looking for. I also loved the Pegasus and Aquarius gowns- the botanical lace is so unique ... as well as the Cygnus (such a show stopper!). I then matched the Aries top with the Celeste gown and really liked the two looks. Kerri was so helpful and the boutique is a lovely place to spend a long time looking at the collection without feeling rushed.

The fitting experience was great and Kerri was really flexible to make sure it was perfect. When I went to collect the dress she also gave me a 'Wedding Day' candle that smells amazing that I used on my wedding morning. She even helped me adapt a white denim jacket I bought for the day. I absolutely loved the fact I ended up with three different looks for each part of the day- it made it extra special. The Celeste on its own is perfect for the first dance too- it moves effortlessly. I had endless compliments on the day and afterwards on how stunning the dress was and the photos look simply beautiful.

I had dragged my poor mum to bridal shops all over, but could never find one dress with everything I was looking for. I met with Kerri who basically shared my attention to detail but with much more style and talent. I told her all the jumbled aspects I had in my mind and she created the best thing I've ever had the pleasure to put on. I didn’t actually enjoy the first set of dress shopping as I felt a little bit out of my depth, but the whole process of having a bespoke dress made by Kerri felt organic, it was fun and light hearted and usually involved bubbles.

THE FITTING

There’s never pressure to place an order on the day and we always welcome brides back for a second appointment if you want to come back to try on a few of your favourites that you can’t stop thinking about. Buying a wedding dress is a huge decision and we totally appreciate that it is not one to be taken lightly, but our aim is to always make it an enjoyable experience.

Once you decide on the style, we will take your measurements and start the process of making your dress in the closest size and then we will have you back for your first fitting to arrange alterations in order to achieve the perfect fit. One or two fittings are generally required before your dress is complete.

When you buy your dress directly from Kindling Bridal, the price includes alterations although any custom changes, should you want any, may be applicable to extra charges, which will always be discussed beforehand.



OUR LEAD TIMES

 Lead time from measurements to complete garment is generally 6 months, although we are always happy to accommodate brides with a shorter lead time if we can, please contact us to discuss should you need your dress sooner. If you are unable to get to our showroom, you could visit our wonderful stockist Story of My Dress, in Kent, who carries a few of our styles, where Cara and her team will look after you.

Alternatively, if you’re unable to get to an appointment to try the dresses on, you’re welcome to place an order remotely. We can talk you through all of the dress details, prices and measurements and give guidance on the correct size to order, as well as sending any fabric swatches, free of charge, so you can get a feel for any style.

We can then make your dress of choice and post it out to you, where you can arrange your own alterations, should you need any, with a local seamstress. Please contact us to start the process of an online order.
