The corset is made with a heavy cotton lining and spiral steel boning to give a structure that is supportive and comfortable. The pleated satin panels on the front and back of the corset highlight the flattering basque waistline on the front, and the slight drop V shape to the back neckline. Finished with a raw edged ruffle trim of the pleated satin around the neckline.
Gathers at the waistline create a flowing full skirt, which is lined with a bamboo silk, with crinoline around the inside hem, which allows the skirt to sit away from the legs and give extra fullness. Pockets make a perfect addition to this skirt style.
Inside the outer corset there is a hidden mesh panel with lighter boning, with hook and eye tape fastening which allows the wearer to fasten this layer for added internal support before zipping up the concealed zip of the outer corset.
