MOVE MOUNTAINS

INTRODUCING OUR NEW SS22 COLLECTION

At last, it’s here! I’ve been so excited to launch the new Move Mountains Collection into the world, it’s safe to say it has been a longer process than initially intended, mainly thanks to new babies and global pandemics. It’s been an absolute joy to create this new collection, I really hope that you love it all just as much as us.

I wanted to focus on styles and shapes that worked well from the first Constellation Collection, with some of these fits and styles becoming synonymous with the Kindling Bride style. I also wanted to incorporate some new shapes, fabrics and finishes that work well for the modern bride in 2021 - creating a romantic collection suitable for all types of weddings in this post-pandemic world in which we find ourselves.

There’s show-stopping, ethereal gowns for those of you who cannot wait to throw the huge wedding that you’ve always dreamed of now you’re allowed again, and then there’s a vast selection of more subtle, yet equally beautiful, separates and midi-length gowns for those of you who want to take advantage of the new wave of more intimate or pared back celebrations.

Whatever your ceremony preference, you can be sure to find modern, comfortable and luxurious pieces that you can feel your true, beautiful self in, and most importantly dance, eat and make incredible memories in.

Nature always has, and always will be, an incredibly important source of inspiration for me, and I can always rely on the open spaces of rolling hills, enchanted forests and sea air to spark design ideas. This new collection incorporates exaggerated ruffles and frills, layers of frothy tulles and sheer fabrics, clean lines and fluid fabrics - all elements inspired by the world around us. Inspired by all the adventure that the world has to offer - from the highest peaks to the deepest valleys and all of the life within them, each piece embodies the freedom and romance that is so entwined with the great outdoors.

Our signature sandwashed silk has been used for it’s fluidity and luxurious touch, combined with pure silk organza and chiffons for their translucent and delicate qualities, sandwashed silk crepes and bamboo silks provide an airy and comfortable element, alongside our signature modern botanical lace and beautiful Nottingham-made cotton lace which add a welcome sense of romance and drama - all fabrics have been so carefully considered with the aim of achieving a modern femininity that has become synonymous with the Kindling Bride.

Design details have always been key to the Kindling look, and hopefully this collection does not disappoint. Ruffle sleeves, poet sleeves, fluted sleeves and bishop sleeves serve up a generous helping of arm candy. Necklines fit for everyone include elegant boatnecks, low-cut v-necks, ruffle collars and square cut. Intricate elements include delicate scallop lace edging, beautiful silk and lace covered buttons and understated sheer panels.

We’ve also expanded our range of silhouettes from the previous collection, so you can be sure to find your most flattering fit. A-line skirts, fitted figure-hugging shapes and ankle-grazing lengths each bring their own fun to the party, and a lot of the styles have pockets too - hallelujah! Whatever silhouette you opt for, you can be sure that each look has it’s own source of drama too - from the show-stopping puddle trains to the regal ruffle stand collars, pearly tulles and thigh high splits. And with such a selection of gowns and separates, you are able to mix and match to create your very own perfect wedding day look.

We had the best day shooting the whole collection earlier in the year at Lightspace Leeds with the absolute dream team!
