Kindling on the Road
Well what a month November has been so far – last week marked the end of our first ever trunk show at Rock the Frock, who had our whole Constellation Collection from 4th November.
I had an absolute blast with the wonderful RTF girls on the first day, as we got to meet some lovely brides, I got to spend time in the uber-cool boutique, and we even had time to play dress up - it just so happens that the very beautiful model (and bride-to-be herself) Chloe Papworth has just started working there, so who better to try on our gowns… Solely for research purposes, of course! Chloe looked incredible in every dress she tried on, and I was delighted when she commented how comfortable they were too, because that’s something that I wanted to be at the heart of every Kindling gown!
RTF creator, Karen Whybro, has created such a wonderful space for the brides of Chelmsford (and beyond!), it’s inconspicuously tucked away, right next to the train station underneath the railway arches, and it’s filled with the coolest things! From the dresses of course (hello, Chantelle Lauren, Velvet Johnstone, Francis Bridal and so many more beauuutiful brands), there’s the Pinterest-worthy furniture (THAT pink and red sofa / Frida Kahlo cushion combo!) and the loveliest accessories from amazing brands including Sophie & Luna and Sash & Veil. Karen’s built such a strong brand that she’s spreading some RTF around, with boutiques coming soon to Plymouth, Berkshire and Okanagan, Canada!
The dresses got packed up last week and made their way up north, to Flamingo Boulevard Boutique in Liverpool, where they’re be in the safe and stylish hands of the lovely Jazmin, who I can’t wait to catch up with again and talk all things weddings (and Vegas!)
Alongside our trunk shows, did you notice that we also launched our amazing new website? I’m so happy with this, it took a lot of work and a heck of a lot of help from the very talented Sarah at Studio Spence, who brought my website dreams to life! If you’re reading this blog, it must mean that you’ve seen the site, but just incase you missed anything, you can see the whole collection on here, as well as email us about buying a dress and also book to visit our little studio in Hebden Bridge as soon as it’s ready. More about that in another blog post!
Here’s to a wonderful November, two exciting trunk shows, a shiny new website, and a very exciting time ahead for Kindling Bridal!
